Conquer Sore Muscles
The Normatec Recovery System is a brand that specializes in dynamic air compression therapy devices designed to aid in muscle recovery, rehabilitation and maximize your performance. The NormaTec Recovery System utilizes pneumatic compression technology to deliver dynamic compression to the limbs, which helps to enhance blood flow, reduce muscle soreness, and expedite the recovery process after intense physical activity or injury. Normatec’s patented precision pulse technology helps to increase circulation, revive muscles, reduce swelling, and creates a restorative massage.
The system typically consists of inflatable sleeves that are worn on the legs, arms, or hips, connected to a control unit that regulates the compression sequence. Users typically sit or lie down while the sleeves inflate and deflate in a sequential manner, creating a massage-like effect that helps to flush out metabolic waste products from the muscles and reduce inflammation.
Some of the key benefits include:
Enhanced Circulation: The sequential compression provided by NormaTec Recovery helps to improve blood circulation in the limbs. This enhanced circulation can aid in the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the muscles, facilitating faster recovery.
Reduced Muscle Soreness: By promoting circulation and lymphatic drainage, NormaTec Recovery can help to alleviate muscle soreness and stiffness following intense exercise or physical activity. This can allow individuals to recover more quickly and return to training or competition sooner.
Faster Recovery Times: Regular use of NormaTec Recovery may contribute to faster recovery times between workouts or after injury. The system helps to accelerate the body's natural recovery processes, allowing muscles to repair and rebuild more efficiently.
Decreased Swelling and Inflammation: The compression therapy provided by NormaTec Recovery can help to reduce swelling and inflammation in the muscles and joints. This can be particularly beneficial for individuals recovering from acute injuries or managing chronic conditions such as arthritis.
Improved Range of Motion: By promoting muscle relaxation and reducing tightness, NormaTec Recovery may help to improve flexibility and range of motion in the joints. This can enhance overall mobility and performance in both athletic and everyday activities.
Prevention of Muscle Fatigue: Regular use of NormaTec Recovery may help to prevent muscle fatigue and overtraining by supporting the body's natural recovery processes. This can help athletes maintain peak performance levels and reduce the risk of injury associated with overuse.
Overall, NormaTec Recovery can be a valuable tool for optimizing recovery, enhancing performance, and supporting overall health and well-being. However, individual results may vary, and it's important to consult with a healthcare professional before beginning any new recovery regimen, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions or concerns.
Who Benefits from Normatec Recovery System: baseball pitchers, football linemen/running backs, distance runners, basketball players, cyclists, hockey players and performance artists.
HOW IT WORKS
PULSING
Instead of using static compression (squeezing) to transport fluid out of the limbs; Normatec's Sequential Pulse Technology uses dynamic compression (pulsing). This mimics the muscle pump of the legs and arms, enhancing the movement of fluid and metabolites out of the limbs after an intense workout. With 7 levels of compression to 5 overlapping zones you can focus and customize treatment to your needs.
GRADIENTS
Normatec's Pulse Technology uses holding pressures to keep fluids from being forced in the wrong direction and delivers maximum pressure in every zone. The pulse system provides gradients of air pressure that will mold to the shape of the athlete’s limb, providing a standardized force across all segments in a circumferential manner.
DISTAL RELEASE
Normatec's sequential Pulse Technology release compression starts distally (the furthest away from your heart) on the targeted limb segment and works its way proximally to promote lymph and venous return toward the heart for dispersion and distribution of metabolites.
